Hotel Entrance
The front door of the hotel is closed from 23:00 to 06:30. You can use your room card at the card reader to the left of the main door by reception to gain access to the building at any time. Please always carry your room card key with you. In the event you unfortunately lose your key, please report this to reception and be aware a charge may apply.

Riehen Location
The Landgasthof Riehen Hotel & Restaurant is in a historic building in the heart of picturesque Riehen, close to Basel city centre, the Vitra Museum and the Fondation Beyeler.

*With the BaselCard you can use public transport for free from your day of arrival until day of departure.

Travelling by bike
A cycle path runs from Badischer Bahnhof or through the Lange Erlen area. You can secure your bicycle in the designated area to the side of the hotel property.

Arrival by car
A limited number of parking spaces are available for hotel guests at the property Arrival by which we recommend are reserved in advance and cost 20CHF per day.

Alternatively, there are public car parks behind Landgasthof Riehen Hotel & Restaurant. You can also use the Zentrum car parking (Baselstrasse 70, 4125 Riehen).

Parking in Riehen’s white areas is permitted but subject to a charge. Fees and payment methods are displayed on site.

In blue zones, a half-day or full-day ticket is required.
Visitor parking permits can be purchased online at

or from TNW machines in the canton of Basel-Stadt.

Information about Basel, restaurant recommendations or reservations, taxis, ticket bookings and more can be provided by our reception team.

Room Cleaning
Our rooms are serviced daily between 9:00 and 16:00. If you wish to not be disturbed, please place the Do Not Disturb sign on your door. In the interest of the environment we ask that you hang any towels you wish to reuse.

First Aid
Bandages and plasters for minor injuries are available at reception. For more serious injuries please call 112 and inform reception.

Emergency Contact
In the event of an emergency, you will find a Fire Exit plan on the main door of your room, this includes all emergency contact numbers. If it is not an emergency requiring public services, please contact the reception.

Safe Deposit Boxes
Personal safes are located at Reception and are each secured with an individual four-digit code.

Baby Cots
Baby cots for children up to three years of age are available free of charge. Please contact reception.

Cushion Menu
Within your room you will find one set of pillows is medium-hard and one set is medium-soft. Additional pillows can be made available upon request.
Should you require anti-allergy pillows please speak with reception who will be happy to accommodate your request.

Additional Blankets / Duvets
For additional blankets or duvets, please speak with our reception team who will be happy to provide these to you.

Shower Mats
In the event you require a shower mat, these are available upon request at reception.

Toiletries / Necessities
We have complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, hygiene products, sewing kits, shower caps and disposable slippers. Please enquire at reception if needed.

Pets
Dogs are welcome at a charge of CHF 20 per night. Please do not leave your pet unattended in the room.

Laundry Service
If you require laundry services, please contact our reception team, who will be happy to help you.

Ironing
We are happy to provide you with an iron and ironing board when required. Please contact reception who will deliver one to your room.

Shoe Cleaning
Our reception team would be happy to provide you with a complimentary shoe cleaning kit if required.

Adapters / Chargers
For our guests ease, our reception team has adapters and charges that we would be happy to provide you with for the duration of your stay. Please note a fee may apply if these are not returned upon check-out.
